Here is a simple way
to keep track of everything, and to have it in one place.
Separate the notebook into five sections: - Works in Progress: This is where you will list all of your incomplete projects.
Later, we will break them into categories including Almost Done, Started, Barely Started, Kits.
- After Quilts: these are quilts that have just a little bit left to do, binding, embellishing, or a label. These are
the “filler” projects you will work on if you have finished the current month’s project, or if you just
need a little break on the one you are working on.
- Ideas: Here you will
list projects that you want to do, that you may or may not have the supplies for, but that you intend to do.
- Inventory (Fabric and Notions): This is optional at this point, but you may find it helpful
to know what you have. This will keep you from going out (and losing sewing time) and making duplicate purchases of fusible
web, batting, and fabrics.
- Completed Projects: Here you will have the
before and after photos of your finished projects. This is a great way to have a record of the work you have completed, who
you gave it to, and when you made it. You can review these pages to remind yourself of how much you have done
